The Art of Scarlet

Born and raised in New York City, I grew up immersed in art, music, performance, and storytelling from an early age. Encouraged by my artist-musician father, I attended art-focused schools throughout my education, eventually earning a BFA in Advertising Art Direction from Pratt Institute. Though formally trained in commercial art and design, my creative path ultimately led me far beyond traditional agency life.
Over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of artistic disciplines including graphic design, photography, sculpture, costume design, performance, tattooing, brand identity, and digital content creation. My work is deeply shaped by a lifelong fascination with visual storytelling, subculture, spirituality, folklore, and human connection. Whether through social media campaigns, handcrafted products, illustration, or tattoo art, I’m most inspired by creating work that feels immersive, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant.
At the core of everything I create is the same foundation that started it all: drawing, curiosity, and the desire to make people feel something.
